Teatr Biuro Podróży

Teatr Biuro Podróży’s legendary street theatre production Carmen Funebre explored the detrimental impact of war on civilians. Now this Polish company in collaboration with British actors present the world premiere sequel, Silence.

Using physical theatre, fire, puppetry and music, they pick up the continuing story of refugees and migrants caught up in a spiral of war and a dream of escape.

Silence takes us into the heart of a besieged city and puts us in the residents’ position to help us understand why they leave their homes and expose themselves to the dangers and humiliation of displacement.

Please Note: This show contains strong images and themes based on real world events.
