Travel News: Bus and Park & Ride Services
Special services for Hat Fair weekend have been laid on by Stagecoach Buses and the Winchester Park & Ride service to make travelling to and around Winchester as easy as possible for everybody between 1 – 3 July 2016.
Winchester roads can get very busy during the festival and some road closures are in place in the city centre throughout the weekend. We recommend that you travel by public transport wherever possible and the lovely folks at Stagecoach and Winchester Park & Ride are doing their bit to help us all out!
Bus Travel: Unlimited Hat Fair travel from £3 a day from Stagecoach
Stagecoach in Winchester are launching a new discounted Hat Fair Weekend ticket, with unlimited bus travel around Winchester Megarider zone for £3 from 1 – 3 July.
See stagecoachbus.com for further information.
Winchester Park & Ride: Extended Service
If you decide to drive to Winchester then we strongly recommend you use the Park & Ride service to avoid a stressful trip into the city centre.
Park & Ride services will run at least every 12 minutes during the day from 4 car parks around Winchester, and every half hour until 9pm on Friday 1 July and until 11pm on Saturday 2 July so you can enjoy yourself at the festival for hours on end before returning home!
