Suitcases, Flying Drones and a Wet Picnic

Suitcases, Flying Drones and a Wet Picnic

On 19th January Winchester wonders Wet Picnic came to visit us at Theatre Royal Winchester and used the space to continue the development of the new show Suitcases, a story about technology and the dreams of humanity.

Suitcases will be unveiled at Hat Fair Festival 2015 (3 – 5 July).

Wet Picnic is famed for creating high-impact visual and physical theatre for everyone, taking shows to audiences in both conventional and unconventional locations, both indoors and outdoors.

You may remember seeing some of Wet Picnic’s work at previous Hat Fair Festivals (how could you forget?). One of our favourites has to be The Lift (seen at Hat Fair 2014) where members of the audience were invited by three bellhops to enter the elevator and select a floor that then triggered a surreal experience never to be forgtten. Take a look at this clip of The Lift from Hat Fair 2014 on Instagram…

Come on down to Abbey Gardens for some more #hatfair2014 fun!
