Hat Fair Carnival

Hat Fair 2024 kicks off with the Hat Fair Carnival.

Led by Playmakers and The New Carnival Company, local schools and groups will hit the streets alongside performing artists from this year’s festival.

Watch as Winchester city centre fills with colour, music and dance. Join us as we parade down the High Street towards the grounds of Winchester Cathedral.

Participating schools include; Barton Farm Primary, Fryern Primary, Norman Gate School, Osborne School, Westgate Secondary Samba Band

Local groups include; Blue Apple Special Assignment Company, James' Place, Ports Fest Group, Playmakers Youth Theatre (South Wonston and Wickham groups), Winchester GoLD, Winchester Ukranian Cultural Association (WUCA)
