Intensely physical, powerful and uplifting, TRIBE//’s new outdoor work for four female dancers simmers with tension and emotional force.
Defiantly performed with a gutsy power, the dancers draw the audience in to a fearless kinetic world of unity and hope, driven by a soundtrack of restless beats.
Falling down, gathering up ...we rise.
TRIBE// creates visceral, raw and punchy dance. Movement driven work from a bold new company, that strives to create work that speaks and connects to its audiences. Based in Brighton and formed in 2016 by choreographer and neurodivergent artist Victoria Fox.
TRIBE// has quickly gained a reputation for its visceral, articulate and tangible choreographic style and artist-centred ethos.
RISE is co-commissioned by Hat Fair and Watermans Theatre London, supported by Surf The Wave Legacy fund 2019.
